Description
This is
a
full-time,
combined course, which aims to develop general knowledge
and skills for effective participation at university in the
arts and/or social sciences. It also aims to develop
competencies for the workplace where advanced
communications skills and a broad general knowledge are
assets.
What
is Liberal Arts?
Liberal
Arts is a broadly based humanities course, which covers
areas such as literature, history, civics, environmental
issues and economics as well as communication (including
information technology) and study skills. It aims to
develop an understanding of some of the major issues and
ideas of modern society.

course is intended for:

The
skills and knowledge covered in this course are applied
when studying at a university specifically when studying
the humanities or allied disciplines. The course focuses on
assisting students understand the nature of study in a
tertiary education environment and the skills involved in
learning in this environment.
